Influence STEM Education Policy

Have you commented on the 2016 Arizona draft Mathematics Standards?  K-12 educator input is critical; comments from those in higher education are also important to ensure we are preparing K-12 students for college. Please consider following the link to add your voice.

The importance of using scientific phenomena to spur interest and learning in STEM has recently been encouraged by STEM education leaders. The helpful Phenomena for NGSS website allows users to search images and video clips to aid this process, or to submit their own media.

The Arizona Science Lab (ASL) in Tempe offers science workshops for student classes in grades 4-8. These are 4 hour, project-based workshops taught by expert volunteer engineers and scientists.
