Description:

In collaboration with the Arizona Science Center and STEP UP Ambassador Nichole Spencer, this Saturday Session will provide teachers with curriculum and resources that support diversity and inclusion in all grade levels and all content areas of STEM.

A special breakout session invites K-8 teachers to attend an engineering & inclusivity session in the CREATE makerspace led by the Arizona Science Center.

Research shows that high school teachers strongly influence student career paths. STEP UP curriculum, adaptable for your STEM content area, will empower teachers with everyday actions that create cultural change and inspire underserved groups to pursue STEM in college.
